Cango Caves Estate opened its doors on 1 December 2014, and it is still early days in the development of the unique tourist facility. The owners have great plans for future expansion while preserving and enhancing the ecology.

Five guest cottages will eventually be built in the main tourist area so as not to encroach on existing agricultural activities, and to allow for services to be concentrated around the existing development instead of spread out all over the farm.

Bush camps with little or no impact on the environment are envisaged for more adventurous visitors or those who want to enjoy the seclusion and tranquility of the wild mountain setting. These will only be accessed by 4×4 vehicles or on foot in order to minimize impact on the ecology.
