Cango Caves Estate offers an array of facilities to suit the taste of connoisseurs, whether it be coffee, local cheeses and wines, or delectable delicacies such as cold meats, preserves and pickles, roasted nuts and dried fruit, served on a platter to be savoured on the wide verandah or rooftop with its breathtaking view of the Swartberg Moutains, or packed into a pretty picnic basket to be enjoyed under the willow trees on lush green lawns on the banks of the dam and river, while the kids play with the ponies.

The coffee roastery offers at least eight types of coffee from around the world, and no less than 12 variations of coffee bliss on the menu.

Cheeses are provided by neighbours Latana Cheeses in Matjies River a few kilometers away, and local wine cellars offer their award-winning wines and port for enjoying with your meal at the estate, or for taking away to be enjoyed at home.

Visitors are invited to participate in the pairing of local wines with locally produced chocolates, cheese, or ostrich meat and egg delights.

Before you leave, be sure to visit the curio shop inside the main building to buy a gift for someone at home or something to remind you of a memorable visit to Cango Caves Estate, the Cango Caves and Oudtshoorn, home of the Ostrich.
